Director Michael Peterson's kid vs crazy-killer, home invader horror-comedy KNUCKLEBALL starring Michael Ironside (SCANNERS, TURBO KID) will be hitting a home run into theaters, On Demand, and Digital HD later this week. And today we have a killer exclusive clip from the film to share with you guys!
The clip features the film's baddie trying to go all Jack Torrance on the film's little hero with a baseball bat instead of an ax. The sequence even goes so far as to use some shots taken directly from Stanley Kubrick's masterpiece adaptation of Stephen King's novel. Not a bad combo if you ask me: HOME ALONE meets THE SHINING. I'll watch that sh*t!
Starring alongside Mr. Ironside, KNUCKLEBALL features Munro Chambers, Kathleen Munroe, Chenier Hundal, and Luca Villacis. The film follows this synopsis:
Alone, and targeted on an isolated farm, 12-year-old Henry finds himself at the center of a maelstrom of terror, and a dark family legacy, when his secretive grandfather dies suddenly in the night.
The film is directed by Michael Peterson from a screenplay he co-wrote with Kevin Cockle. The movie will be released into theaters, On Demand and Digital HD October 5th, 2018.
