If Alfie Allen and Michael Nyqvist seem like a couple of nice, quiet guys… well, that's because they are. But the two play a decidedly hateful father-son team in JOHN WICK, the action-thriller headlined by Keanu Reeves coming out this weekend. In the film, Allen – best known for his role on "Game of Thrones – portrays a spoiled thug who makes the mistake of pissing off the deadliest man in New York (Reeves, of course). Nyqvist – the original Mikael Blomkvist in THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO – is the young man's protective, iron-fisted father who knows the dire consequences of his careless son's actions. Together they form a combo that will definitely leave you rooting for Wick to stop both their clocks.
I spoke to both Allen and Nyqvist about whether they enjoyed playing their villainous characters, fighting with Keanu Reeves, and two of Allen's more memorable sequences in the film. (One involves killing a puppy, the other involves nudity. You're welcome!)
