The film that put director Christopher Nolan on the map; 2000's MEMENTO starring Guy Pearce, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Joe Pantoliano is arguably the perfect example of the director's storytelling style, which is rich with twists, turns, big ideas, and heigtened sense of mystery that leaves you utterly engrossed from start to finish. Nolan has applied these techniques in all of his work since this one, although never quite as artistically or as trippy as this, which unravels from the end to the beginning. For those that may have watched this over and over again and still have trouble making sense of how it all fits into place, we've got a handy (and funny) Movie CliffsNotes for you to help crack the case and remind you of the coolness that Nolan is capable of.
