A couple of weeks ago, we posted a trailer for M.J. Bassett's ROGUE, which is due to hit Digital and On Demand platforms on August 28th and Blu-ray and DVD September 1st. One of the most intriguing things about the film is that it stars Megan Fox in a role that seems like a total career re-invention, with her cast against-type as a black ops mercenary operating in remote Africa who's hired to foil a kidnapping gone awry, while facing off with a horde of ravenous lions. What was especially cool about the trailer was how comfortable Fox seemed in the role, and now we've got an all-new exclusive clip that offers a tantalizing glimpse of her in action. This actually looks like a fun little action flick, doesn't it?
Here's the official synopsis for ROGUE:
Megan Fox (Transformers franchise) tackles a thrilling new role as a battle-hardened mercenary in this explosive action saga. As team leader O’Hara, she leads a lively squad of soldiers on a daring mission: rescue hostages from their captors in remote Africa. But as the mission goes awry and the team is stranded, O’Hara’s squad must face a bloody, brutal encounter with a gang of rebels — and the horde of ravenous, enraged lions they encounter.
