Exclusive: Armie Hammer is a dire, stranded soldier in this clip from Mine

Getting stranded in any situation is no joke. There are an infinite amount of factors one needs to consider when surviving a situation where you don't have access to water, adequate amounts of sustenance and of course, human contact. Meet Mike (Armie Hammer), a soldier in the U.S. military who is about to discover just how far he's willing to go before succumbing to the poison whispers of desperation while being stranded in the desert for 52 hours after a failed assassination mission falls apart. In a battle against the elements and a struggle to maintain his sanity, Mike must fight for his survival against encroaching enemies, the forces of nature, and the creeping psychological toll of his treacherous situation.

Today, JoBlo is pleased to share an exclusive clip from the film, which you can watch by selecting the video posted below:

Having never served in the U.S. military or otherwise, I can scarcely begin to imagine the mental price that must be paid by the soldiers who fight day in and day out to keep their countries safe. I could go on, but the bottom line of it all is that I have an immense respect for those who lay their lives on the line for our collective freedom, and I salute them for all of their hard work and dedication.

Directed by Fabio Guaglione and Fabio Resinaro, MINE stars actors Armie Hammer, Annabelle Wallis, Tom Cullen, Clint Dyer, Geoff Bell, and Juliet Aubrey in a film that explores the mental price of war, alienation and desolation.

MINE is set for an April 7, 2017 release.
