There is nothing better than sharing in classic genre movies with fans ready to experience some of the coolest flicks on the planet and then some. After last year’s EVIL DEAD FEST it was a no-brainer that Arrow in the Head would want to join up with Flicks for Fans and create an unforgettable night out at the movies. In fact, a couple Saturday’s ago when the LETHAL LADIES OF HORROR FILM FEST took over the iconic Crest Theatre in Los Angeles we enjoyed an awesome night of movies, celebrities and one of the most iconic cars in the history of horror.
Join us on a video trip through the Lethal Ladies Fest!
The first film was an absolute treat as we witnessed the greatness that is Sam Raimi’s DRAG ME TO HELL. After the film the enchanting Lorna Raver, as well as her incredible stunt double Anna Mercedes Morris, came by to chat all about body suits, gumming Alison Lohman and so much more. With a ton of terrific fan questions and a slew of autographed prizes there was no turning back as the night of genre fun continued on.

It was beyond thrilling for me to present one of my all-time favorite flicks from the 80’s. NIGHT OF THE COMET gets it right on every level. This comedic-horror-popcorn flick manages to create some serious laughs as well as a couple of cool scares. To say that having BOTH the film’s stars, Catherine Mary Stewart and Kelli Maroney, on hand was a dream come true is a humongous understatement. The two ladies were incredibly gracious and managed to charm the hell out of every single person in attendance.
Alexandra Paul Interview!
Finishing off this incredible night, the lovely Alexandra Paul stopped by to talk with us at AITH about the final film of the evening, the John Carpenter classic CHRISTINE. And to make things even more incredible, we had one of the few remaining 1958 Plymouth Fury’s actually used in the film on display. After the final film, fans got a chance to take a ton of photos and get close to this incredible beauty. This was a phenomenal opportunity for horror fans, and I myself got to get behind the wheel and fall in love all over again. Christine is a possessive little vixen!
Anna Mercedes Morris and Lorna Raver Interview
I’d like to give a special thanks to everyone involved, especially Mr. Jason Coleman and Flicks for Fans who continues to wear their infectious love for cinema with pride and organized this massive event. Of course I have to give tons of props to my partner in crime over at JoBlo.com, the awesomeness that is Rusty Eltringham who was a one-man video crew. He filmed the hell out of this event. I just hope he doesn’t get any wise ideas about adding some terrifying video of me performing the song “Cool Rider” originally sung by Michelle Pfeiffer in the “classic” GREASE 2 – this trailer, along with a ton other killer spots, was featured before NIGHT OF THE COMET.
Kelli Maroney and Catherine Mary Stewart Interview
Thanks should also be given to my pal Mathew Helton who provided some serious back-up for my frazzled state. The Crest Theatre rocked it and let us enjoy in these great flicks at this beautiful theatre. The night would have been nothing had it not been for the incredible presence of Catherine Mary Stewart, Kelli Maroney, Lorna Raver, Anna Mercedes Morris, Alexandra Paul and the fine folks from Martin’s Movie Cars. And most importantly, a gigantic horror THANK YOU to all of those in attendance! This was a fan-f*cking-tastic audience and we look forward to doing this again sometime very soon!
