David Goyer is a very familiar name with fans of superheroes. As one of the men who helped bring Batman to glorious life thanks to BATMAN BEGINS, he has worked on several other projects especially in the realm of television with “Da Vinci’s Demons” and “FlashForward.” While not all of his tales has led to success, he certainly seems to have a vast knowledge of the comic book world.
When we spoke with Goyer over on the WB lot, we discussed the direction of his latest attempt to reinvigorate the Superman legend with MAN OF STEEL. Thankfully, he has done just that with what may very well be the best superhero movie since THE DARK KNIGHT! When we spoke, we talked about the pressure of creating this story with the constant questioning of what the future of DC may be. He discussed his villain and the decisions to take this story down the particular path they did. MAN OF STEEL opens June 14th at a theatre near you!
