Evil Dead: The Game trailer brings back Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams

Bruce Campbell has returned as Ash Williams, and he's ready to kick some Deadite ass. It was announced at The Game Awards 2020 that the Evil Dead actor will be returning for Evil Dead: The Game, a new video-game based on the iconic horror franchise. Check out the reveal trailer above!

You'll work together as a team of four survivors as you explore, loot, craft, manage your fear, and locate key artifacts in order to seal the breach between worlds, but you'll also be able to take control of the "powerful Kandarian Demon to hunt Ash and his friends while possessing Deadites, the environment, and even the survivors themselves as you seek to swallow their souls!" As you can see, Evil Dead: The Game will be drawing from all the films of the classic trilogy in addition to the more recent TV series. There will be multiple maps to enjoy, including the infamous cabin in the woods, as well as more than 25 weapons, such as Ash's Gauntlet, Boomstick, and chainsaw. "I’m excited to be strapping on the chainsaw one more time," said Bruce Campbell in a statement. "Boss Team and Saber Interactive are planning a huge immersive dealio, and I knew I had to come back. You’ll be able to step into my shoes and kick some Deadite ass!"

Evil Dead: The Game will be bringing its co-op and PvP experience to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC in 2021.
