Last month, the developers of Evil Dead: The Game announced that the character Mia Allen, who was played by Jane Levy in the 2013 Evil Dead, will be added to the game as a playable character on September 8th. A week later, it was announced that Mia’s brother David Allen, who was played by Shiloh Fernandez, is also being added to the game on September 8th. Now more details on the game’s versions of these characters have been revealed!
Here’s the information on Mia: “All that anger, all that terror – now, she’s learned how to use them. Her abilities include converting her own fear into damage and complete resistance to demon possession.”
And here’s the information on David, whose arrival in the game coincides with the arrival of a new weapon, the nail gun: “Whatever it takes, David will be there until the end. His team-boosting abilities make him a natural guardian for the group. And if he gets his hands on the new nail gun weapon, he’ll do some real damage.”
Evil Dead: The Game‘s versions of Mia and David can be seen in the Twitter embeds at the bottom of this article.
As described by Boss Team Games, Evil Dead: The Game is
the blood soaked co-op and PVP experience you’ve been waiting for. Step into the shoes of iconic horror hero Ash Williams (voiced once again by Bruce Campbell himself!) or join up to three of your friends in an over-the-top melee-shooter featuring wild weapons and crazy characters that only Evil Dead could cook up. You can also play as the vile Kandarian Demon and haunt the world in spirit form to terrorize survivors, spawning Deadites and controlling items throughout the environment! You can even possess players and control their characters while they fight to save their souls!
Evil Dead: The Game‘s voice cast includes Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams, Ray Santiago and Dana DeLorenzo from Ash vs. Evil Dead as their characters Pablo and Kelly, Marcus Gilbert as Lord Arthur from Army of Darkness, and Ellen Sandweiss and Richard DeManincor (a.k.a. Hal Delrich) as their characters Cheryl and Scott from the original The Evil Dead, with “special appearances” by The Evil Dead‘s Betsy Baker and Theresa Tilly (a.k.a. Sarah York). Evil Dead II‘s Annie Knowby and Ed Getley, and Ash vs. Evil Dead‘s Amanda Fisher are also playable characters.
The game is available to play on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. The game is the result of a collaboration between Saber Interactive, Boss Team Games, Renaissance Pictures, STUDIOCANAL, MGM, and Lionsgate.
