I'm currently in the midst of my first re-watch of Mad Men since the series concluded, but the end is rapidly approaching. Thankfully, the release of Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner's next series is now a month away. Titled The Romanoff's, the contemporary anthology series is set around the globe featuring eight separate stories about people who believe themselves to be descendants of the Russian royal family. The series also boasts quite the star-studded cast which includes Aaron Eckhart, Diane Lane, Isabelle Huppert, Christina Hendricks, John Slattery, Amanda Peet, Jack Huston, Kathryn Hahn, Noah Wyle, Paul Reiser, and many more. Amazon Prime recently unveiled the full trailer for the upcoming series which teases the various stories, locations, and characters we'll soon be introduced to.
"The Romanoffs is an ambitious event series that will be the first-ever anthology released weekly on Prime Video," said Jennifer Salke, Head of Amazon Studios. "Filmed around the globe and featuring an incredible, star studded cast, each episode will be a surprise gift to the audience. We are grateful to Matthew Weiner for bringing this groundbreaking series to life for our Prime audience."
The first two episodes of The Romanoffs will debut on Amazon on October 12, 2018, with new episodes released weekly.
