Based on the acclaimed and influential horror anthology series from Clive Barker, Hulu's upcoming BOOKS OF BLOOD aims to set us on a journey into uncharted territory through three tales tangled in space and time. The first trailer for BOOKS OF BLOOD has been released and it looks suitably spooky, which is fantastic as we're slightly over a week away from the beginning of October, which is when it suddenly becomes socially acceptable to watch horror movies all day every day.
Directed by Brannon Braga, BOOKS OF BLOOD stars Britt Robertson, Rafi Gavron, Anna Friel, Yul Vazquez, and Freda Foh Shen, and was executive produced by Braga, Erica Huggins, Alana Kleiman, Brian Witten, Jeff Kwatinetz, Josh Barry, Clive Barker, Adam Simon, and…Seth MacFarlane. Little odd, but I'll allow it. The stories found within Clive Barker's anthology series have spawned plenty of films in the past, including RAWHEAD REX, CANDYMAN, LORDS OF ILLUSION, THE MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN, and more.
BOOKS OF BLOOD will debut on Hulu on October 7, 2020. Will you be watching?
