Larry David will be returning to our screens next month for the tenth season of Curb Your Enthusiasm, and as you can see from the recently released trailer, not a lot has changed; lying, ranting, and feeling the wrath of friends and strangers alike, but this time, he's pulled Jon Hamm (Mad Men) into his web.
Jeff Garlin, who plays Larry's best friend and manager, teased on The Last Laugh podcast last month that the tenth season is his favourite. "It’s my favorite season. I know there are other seasons that people will like as much, if not more, but for me, the premise of [this] season is my favorite one we’ve ever done," Garlin said. Unfortunately, the 10th season won't include the character of Marty Funkhouser due to the death of Bob Einstein earlier this year. "That was such a hit to all of us at Curb Your Enthusiasm, because he was our friend," Garlin said. "And we rose above it, but boy that hurt." Garlin added that while Marty won't appear in the new season, his character will be mentioned, but they won't be killing him off. "By the way, no, we don’t talk about his character dying on the show," Garlin said. "Why do we need that on a comedy show? That doesn’t fit on our show. There is no melancholy on Curb Your Enthusiasm."
The tenth season of Curb Your Enthusiasm will debut on HBO on January 19, 2020.
