Mandate Pictures has announced that Randy Krallman will be directing a film about the dangers of being a bully.
Titled simply BULLIES, it will revolve around two brothers who have bullied people their whole lives and finally get what’s coming to them. This will be Krallman’s directorial debut but chances are you’re familiar with the man’s work. For one, he created those creepy/annoying E*Trade ads with the talking baby, who he also voiced. He’s also the man behind that strange Berries and Cream Starburst ad.
The idea for BULLIES came from Danny McBride (YOUR HIGHNESS “East Bound and Down”) and the script was written by Andrew Mogel and Jarrad Paul (YES MAN). Rough House Pictures principals Danny McBride, David Gordon Green, Jody Hill and Matt Reilly will produce, and seek to start casting immediately. Mandate President Nathan Kahane will executive produce and Aaron Ensweiler will oversee the project.
“When we first met Randy he said he always wanted to direct The Bible,” said Danny McBride. “We thought that BULLIES might be more entertaining.”
Be interesting to see who they cast! More news as we hear it.
