Grab your shotgun and tinfoil hat because Brett Gelman (FleabagStranger Things) is going from Hawkins, Indiana, to the English countryside for ENTITLED, a new series bound for Showtime/Channel 4. Gelman will take the lead role for ENTITLED, which focuses on an American widower who must get to know his British wife’s estranged family in their crumbling gothic mansion in the English countryside.

Gelman plays Gabe for the eight-episode series from the BBC’s Mister Winner creator Matt Morgan. The same team that executive produced Fleabag will do the same for ENTITLED. The project is a co-production between Showtime and the British pubcaster associated with All3Media International.

ENTITLED is “led by an undeniable creative team at the center of a funny, suspenseful and surprisingly emotional comedy,” according to Amy Israel, Executive Vice President, Global Programming, Showtime Networks.

Gelman has appeared in multiple projects, including Mr. MercedesCampingAnother PeriodLoveTWIN PEAKSMarriedMad Men, etc. Most people know him as Murray Bauman from Stranger Things. A former investigative journalist, Bauman is the unsung hero of the show’s fourth season. Well, Bauman and Eddie “The Freak” Munson. They’re both fantastic characters who stand out in the latest episodes.
