Since Independence Day falls on a Wednesday this year, the networks are having a tough time deciding which weekend to air their annual programming marathons. Luckily, cable network Encore has decided to kick off the month with a marathon and then continue it throughout July.
Encore will spend July 1st by airing The Bond Collection, comprising eleven Bond films featuring Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, and Pierce Brosnan. Here’s the schedule (all times Eastern):
7:00am DR. NO
9:00am A VIEW TO A KILL
11:20am THE SPY WHO LOVED ME
1:35pm THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS
3:50pm THUNDERBALL
6:05pm GOLDFINGER
8:00pm TOMORROW NEVER DIES
10:00pm LIVE AND LET DIE
12:05am FOR YOUR EYES ONLY
2:15am YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE
4:15am NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN
Unfortunately, no Daniel Craig films in the mix, but you get a good collection going. If you don’t have a full day to spend watching 007 flicks, Encore will also be airing one of 19 Bond films each night for the entire month. Here is the schedule for The Bond Collection. Each movie begins at 8pm EST.
