So here with have the second trailer for THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN, featuring Emily Blunt as Rachel Watson, a woman who takes the train in to work which just so happens to pass by her old house, where her ex-husband resides with his new wife and child. This somehow connects to another woman who seems to have disappeared, and Rachel suspects herself, despite not remembering anything.
I've heard a ton of great things about the book and I fortunately haven't had the ending spoiled for me…yet! Watching these trailers, I really hope this turns out to be a taught thriller, and doesn't have some sort of stupid twist at the end. I'm not the kind of guy who tries to figure out a movie beforehand, so hopefully this brings some decent drama and thrills our way when it hits theaters.
THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN opens in theaters on October 7, 2016.
