X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST star Nicholas Hoult and the Mother of Dragons Emilia Clarke are set to team up to play the legendary duo BONNIE AND CLYDE. Michael Sucsy (THE VOW) will direct the adaptation of the Jeff Guinn's non-fiction book "Go Down Together: The True, Untold Story of Bonnie and Clyde."
If Emilia Clarke is trying to be recognized for being more than the girl from GAME OF THRONES, she's well on her way. She is currently filming the lead role opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger in TERMINATOR: GENESIS and now she will be the legendary Bonnie Parker! The role was made famous of course by Faye Dunaway who earned a best actress nomination for the part.
On the other hand, I might always see Nicholas Hoult as Marcus in ABOUT A BOY (sorry man) and think of him daily as the current boyfriend of Jennifer Lawrence. I say current because you never know when Lawrence will come knocking on your door; she can’t ignore my skywriting forever.
BONNIE AND CLYDE might be the roles these two fine actors need to break out into more major movie roles; I look forward to hearing more on this project.
Have you guys seen the original classic or the recent TV mini-series? What are your thoughts on this?
