Elvira: Fright Rags celebrates horror host’s 40th anniversary with clothing line

Last week, the Shudder streaming service helped legendary horror host Elvira celebrate her 40th anniversary with the Elvira’s 40th Anniversary, Very Scary, Very Special Special movie marathon. Now Fright Rags is getting in on the celebration with new designs that you can order on black tees, long-sleeve shirts, tie-dye tees, and/or zip-up hoodies. You can see the designs below, and purchase some Elvira-themed clothing at Fright-Rags.com!

Once your Fright Rags order is delivered, you can wear your new Elvira items while watching Elvira’s 40th Anniversary, Very Scary, Very Special Special, which is now available to watch on demand on Shudder. Elvira hosted four movies during the special, including the feature film Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, which she starred in back in 1988. The other three movies shown were House on Haunted Hill (1959), The City of the Dead (1960), and Messiah of Evil (1973).

Elvira is played by Cassandra Peterson, who also released a memoir titled Yours Cruelly, Elvira: Memoirs of the Mistress of the Dark last week. In that book, which can be purchased at THIS LINK,

The woman behind the icon known as Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, the undisputed Queen of Halloween, reveals her full story, filled with intimate bombshells, told by the bombshell herself.

Here are those Fright Rags designs. The artists who came up with them are Kyle Crawford, Justin Osbourn, Yannick Bouchard, and Mr Black.

Some clothing options and sizes have already sold out by the time of this writing, so if you’re a fan of Elvira and want to own one or more of these designs, you should definitely head over to Fright Rags and make the purchase before they’re gone.

I used to watch Elvira host movies when I was a kid, so I’m glad to see her being celebrated.
