Warner Bros. currently has their hands tied in regards to what to do about the release of their big tentpole comic book effort The Flash, set to be released next year, and the truly troubling behavior of the film’s star, Ezra Miller. It’s a saga that continues to grow more bizarre with each passing story and while some reports have said they are done with Miller after the release of next year’s movie, fans of The Umbrella Academy’s Elliot Page are throwing their love behind the actor on social media as the right choice to replace Miller as Barry Allen and his Speedster alter ego.
Fans have taken to Twitter to voice their opinion that Elliot Page is the perfect choice to take on the role of The Flash once they give Ezra Miller the official boot. Warner Bros. hasn’t revealed any plans about recasting the role or mentioned any prospects but at least the internet, as always, is a helpful resource for ideas if they need some. I think it’s cool the fans of Elliot Page are rallying behind him as a potential choice for the role and there is no doubt in my mind that he’s certainly more deserving than another performer who seems to be steadily throwing their life away.
