The horror world was just hit with some fantastic news today as The Wrap is reporting that Eli Roth (above) is set to reteam with his AFTERSHOCK co-writers on the horror movie KNOCK KNOCK. Whether you're a fan or Roth's films or not, there's no denying the kind of impact his vision and storytelling has had on the genre over the years, so it's nice to see him getting behind the camera for a horror feature once again. After the six-year gap between HOSTEL: PART II and THE GREEN INFERNO, it looks like his creative spark is back, which is good news for horror fans!
We don't know much about KNOCK KNOCK just yet, but it sounds like it could be of the home invasion variety as it follows…
two young girls who show up unexpectedly at the home of a married man where they seduce him and wreak havoc on his perfect life.
Roth will direct from an original screenplay he co-wrote with Nicolas Lopez and Guillermo Amoedo. Roth will also produce with veteran actress Colleen Camp. His latest horror flick THE GREEN INFERNO was recently snatched up by Open Road Films who aim to release the cannibal tale in September.
