Picking up right where the series finale of Breaking Bad left off, EL CAMINO: A BREAKING BAD MOVIE dropped us back into the life of Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) as he made his dramatic escape from captivity and attempted to come to terms with his past in order to forge some kind of future. Breaking Bad came to such a perfect conclusion that it was hard to imagine returning to that story, but EL CAMINO proved to be a wonderful epilogue for the series that filled in a few gaps and let us spend a little more time with the characters we loved.
EL CAMINO debuted on Netflix last year, but fans hungry to place the film on their shelves alongside Breaking Bad were left disappointed by the lack of a physical home-media release. Thankfully, those fans will be pleased to know that Sony Pictures Home Entertainment have announced that the film will be released on Blu-ray in a limited-edition Steelbook on October 13, 2020.
