Zac Efron is one of the luckiest leprechauns out there. He’s only 19 and has at least 10 years minimum of looking forward to top quality you-know-what ahead of him. That simply put, is exciting. Efron is about to up his babe-magnetness by starring in a remake of the 80’s classic FOOTLOOSE. Kevin Bacon originated the role of Ren McCormack, a newcomer in a town where dancing has been banned, and Efron, star of Disney’s smash HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL and the upcoming HAIRSPRAY, is looking to fill those loose feet. Who knows, maybe one day we’ll be playing Six Degrees of Zac Efron? I certainly hope so. The remake is to be directed by MUSICAL helmer Kenny Ortega.
