Director Daniel Espinosa's sci-fi thriller LIFE recently began filming at London's Shepperton Studios, and with the start of production comes news of a few more cast members, who have joined previously announced stars Ryan Reynolds, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Rebecca Ferguson in the story of
the crew of the International Space Station, who are tasked with studying a sample from Mars that may be the first proof of extraterrestrial life. And that life proves more intelligent than ever expected.
The latest additions to the cast are Olga Dykhovichnaya (pictured below), Ariyon Bakare (pictured above), and Hiroyuki Sanada (seen in the thumbnail).
It's very cool that Espinosa is assembling an international cast to play the film's international crew. So far no two actors are from the same country. Reynolds is from Canada, Gyllenhaal the United States, Ferguson is from Sweden, Dykhovichnaya from Belarus, Bakare was born in England, and Sanada in Japan.
Sony and Skydance are planning a March 24, 2017 release for LIFE. The film was written by ZOMBIELAND / DEADPOOL scribes Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese.
