Dwayne Johnson brings the smackdown to some thugs in Jumanji set pics

Please remember this holiday season to pay thanks to Dwayne Johnson, lest he rids us of his Instagram account out of vengeance. I for one have sung songs, offered foods on an altar and watched THE RUNDOWN on his behalf, and clearly my efforts have been rewarded. While JUMANJI enters its production's final stretch, Johnson gave us a few behind-the-scenes pics of him doing what he was born to do: Bash skulls and chuck bodies.

Been shooting #Jumanji for months now and I've been waiting patiently for this night to come… In the original movie, the world of #Jumanji came to us. Now 20yrs later in our continuation of the story, we go to the amazing and deadly world of #Jumanji. For months we've shot everything.. all the comedy, all the jungle action and all the heart. Finally, tonight – Saturday night – all night – I get to knuckle up with my stunt brothers and I get to beat some ass like a drum. My stunt brother here @taitfletcher is going night night. And when he wakes up, I'll be good as gone cause he can rearrange my face with one punch. Though I hoped in that first photo Johnson was delivering one of his classic Rock Bottom finishers, throwing him through a pillar is a suitable replacement. All in all it wouldn’t be a proper Johnson flick without some backs being broken, so I’m glad we got this taste almost a year before the movie’s release, after it’s near six-month bump. Overall I’m excited for this movie, with the above and past images hinting a big adventure flick. Director Jake Kasdan will no doubt bring the funny out of the proceedings and his actors (primarily Jack Black and Kevin Hart), while Johnson and Karen Gillan look ready to kick some serious rumpus. I mean, what other possible reason is there for such short shorts than for aerodynamic kicks to the head?
