Transformers – October 16

The quick turnaround from theatrical release to DVD release can sometimes be a pain in the ass, especially when you’re doing a couple of weeks in county on your third drunk driving charge and the courts are figuring out what to do with you. I don’t mind just waiting for DVD because then I’m not distracted by some jagoff in front of me checking his phone for a non-existent text or missed call. Oh well, I still got to see world devestation and big f*cking robots beating the shit out of each other. Artwork for both editions below and detailed specs for the SE is also listed.

Live Free or Die Hard – November 20

I’m a DIE HARD purist. And I hate purists. But I love me some John McClane. I saw the second DIE HARD in the theater and even as a young Moreno I knew it was crap. DIE HARD WITH A VENGANCE was the chit and LIVE FREE or DIE HARD is a worthy addition to the series. Let’s just forget the second one ever happened, okay? The Unrated edition makes things pretty interesting, since LIVE FREE was a PG-13 flick. Hey Hollywood, enough with the watered down PG-13 horror and action flicks, grow some balls and release flicks that stay true to the character and the environment in which these stories are being told. No? Oh, okay.
