After four days of working, drinking, celebrity spotting and hanging out with my new friends at the San Diego Comic Con, nothing brings you back to reality like your buddies at home whipping your ass in darts and your lady friend denying you a little action while she’s sleeping. Stanley Kubrick Collection – October 23
Warner Home Video plans to release a Kubrick Collection, but you’ll notice that FULL METAL JACKET isn’t included. Apparently it WILL be included in Blu-Ray and HD-DVD editions. The rest of the flicks include 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY, A CLOCKWORK ORANGE, EYES WIDE SHUT, THE SHINING, BARRY LYNDON, LOLITA, and STANLEY KUBRICK: A LIFE IN PICTURES (Kubrick Collection 2001 Release).
The Graduate (SE) – September 11
I’ve got to say, for an anniversary edition, THE GRADUATE has some really good features. Usually anniversary editions are filled with a whole disc of boredom. This one includes such folks as Alexander Payne, Henry Rollins, and David O. Russell. Noice.
