Coming to America – June 5
Just a quick update today as we’re experiencing a bit of a lull in DVD news this past couple of weeks. I’m going
to be a bit hypocritical in saying that I love the “Soul Glow Edition” title. I’ve been critical of these
alternate titled Special Edition names since the beginning because for the most part, they’re pretty stupid.
This one might be also but I like it. I’ll like it even more if it’s completely covered in Soul Glow.

Trading Places (SE) – June 5
How about those stupid alternate titles on those DVDs huh, pally? Just kidding of course. Or maybe not. The
cover of the “Lookin’ Good, Feelin’ Good” Edition” kinda reminds me of the old Brewster’s Millions VHS cover.
Anyway, I’m looking more forward to the COMING TO AMERICA SE rather than this. I thought TRADING PLACES was
funny for the first half hour, but then I usually fall asleep.

New Release Dates
The new Nic Cage/comic book flick Ghost Rider and Eddie Murphy’s
Norbit hits streets on June 12th. Something about those two commiserating
over their careers over a raspberry daiquiris makes me laugh. But then Nic Cage shows Eddie his Oscar and beats
while laughing hysterically.
Reno 911: Miami and David Fincher’s Zodiac streets on June 26th.
The Number 23, where Jim Carrey continues to try to sell us on his
dramatic flair, will be released by Infinifilm on July 17th.
Gearing up for RUSH HOUR 3, New Line is releasing new special editions for Rush
Hour and Rush Hour 2 on May 22nd.
The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause will be released on November
20th, so you’ll have plenty of time to completely forget about it.
The new Hannibal Rising will be released on June 5th.

Hey kids, it’s that time again to give away some free shit. You know the drill, caption the below pic from 300
and win the CLERKS 2 (SE). All you gotta do is make me and my panel of judges laugh our asses off. The panel of
judges are from the off-Broadway musical, which is the sequel to 300 called “0”. Wow, it’s that simple! Now get
crack’a’lackin’!!!
“Caption me. Please?”
