Rocky Balboa – March 20
ROCKY BALBOA was a true successor for the series. You can just skip 3 thru 5 because none of them maintained the same spirit as the first two. Just my opinion, of course. How about that scene with his son, about how no one’s going to hit as hard as life does? Wow, if you have kids, sit them down and show them that scene, little brats. If you don’t, pour out your drool cup and “go for it”. Sorry, couldn’t help myself.

The Last King of Scotland – April 17
A few weeks ago, we gave you some preliminary specs on Forest Whitaker’s latest. Now we have the complete details, as well as some artwork for you. The flick will be available in
separate Widescreen and Full Screen editions with English Dolby Surround 5.1 as well as Spanish and French Dolby Surround and English, Spanish and French subtitles.
Includes:
Deja Vu – April 24
Extras are minimal on Tony Scott’s latest release which includes “The Surveillance Window”, a featurette that goes behind the scenes, and some deleted scenes. The film will be in 2.35:1 Anamorphic Widescreen with Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound (English, French and Spanish audio, Spanish and French subtitles). Tony Scott flicks always get really stocked special editions, so look out for a better release in the future.
Eragon (SE) – March 20
When somebody told me that Viggo Mortensen was going to have his own movie based on his character from THE LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy, I was pretty excited. But then I saw a trailer and found out that it was ERAGON not ARAGORN and it was about a dragon. I am in no way watching a movie about dragons unless they’re about Komodo Dragons because they kick ass. ERAGON will have a single disc edition (which has one extra, an audio commentary) and double disc Special Edition (artwork below). To get the full lowdown on the Special Edition specs, go HERE.
Caption Contest Winner!!!
I think it’s safe to say by now (and I’ve said it before) that the JoBlo Schmoes are some of the funniest cats on the web. You guys/gals continue to slay me and my panel of judges with your depraved humor.
This week’s CAPTION THE PIC winner, as judged by the cast of the off Broadway production, PAIN IN MY LABYRINTH, is “DevilsRejects”. You are no longer a reject, in fact you’re a winner (at least for today). Congratulations!
It turns out that masturbation making you go blind and putting hair on your palms were only half truths. Unfortunately, they were both halves of the same myth.
