Stranger than Fiction – February 27
I want to know, from you Schmoes who’ve seen FICTION, how good it was. I like the idea of the story, but looking at the God awful trailer and Will Ferrell talking slow…..and…..deliberately, it looks like it may have failed in execution. So strike back my lovelies. Also, please stop hailing Zach Helm (or whoever for that matter) as “geniuses”. That word is thrown out way too liberally nowadays.
Includes:
Borat – March 6
Sacha Boren Cohen’s a genius! I’m afraid, much like when AUSTIN POWERS was first released, that now we’re going to have a barrage of people doing really bad BORAT impressions. Lovely. Specs for the DVD’s release include five extended/deleted scenes (which are probably on YouTube by now), deleted footage montage featuring never-before-seen clips, Publicity Tour Montage including appearances at The Toronto International Film Festival, Cannes, Comic-Con. I’m sure there will be plenty of footage of his now infamous neon green, nuthugging bathing suit. Is very nice!
Happy Feet – March 27
Again, I want to hear about HAPPY FEET because someone told me that there is a really, really disturbing sequence in the movie that shouldn’t be viewed by children. And hearing that my first thought was, “I can’t wait to take my nephew!” Where’s Morgan Freeman’s narration when you need him?

Everyone’s Hero – March 20
Hey, why not? Let’s just regurgitate another animated flick for the rugrats because we know the little chitlin’s parents will eventually cave in to their whining. If that doesn’t work, we’ll just release another remake. Or reimagining. No, let’s call it a “cover”, like the music industry does when a band does another band’s song. Those dickheads will still eat it up. Thanks Hollywood.

Revenge of the Nerds (SE) – March 13
Now, we’re talking (yeah, my priorities are f*cked!). We’ve updated this article with the new artwork (try explaining that to the kids), and reprinted the detailed specs for your pleasure. Ah yes, pleasure. Because all jocks think about is sports, all nerds think about is sex. I guess I should consider myself a nerd then. I was heavily in Denial (a strip club near my house).
Includes:
Also available is a Revenge of the Nerds 4-Pack Gift Set which bundles the new special edition along with the three sequels.
Entourage (S3) – April 3
I don’t have HBO, but all my friends (the two of them who merely tolerate my presence) have raved about this show. I actually just met Jeremy Piven as he was leaving a radio interview in the building I work in. Very cool guy. Tell me that guy’s not a pothead. The three disc set is presented in Anamorphic Widescreen with English DD5.1 Surround audio. Extras include commentaries on selected episodes. No other details have been added.
