Universal Home Video has released the wonderful cover art as well as a few specs for King Kong (Arrow’s Review Here). One of my favorite films of 2005, Peter Jackson’s version of the notorious super-sized gorilla, is filled with action, a hot lead actress and even a little comedy. The film will be available in single-disc and Special Edition 2 – Disc set. The Cover Art for this great film is very well done and has been well received by movie fans. The only negative is the 2 -Disc version has the exact cover just a smaller image of it. The disc will be available to own on March 28th. Here’s the small specs available as of now…more to come!

Weinstein Co. saved a little film called Wolf Creek (see Arrow’s review) during it’s separation from Dimension, thankfully they did. Now the ultra-violent and ultra-disturbing good ole-fashioned horror flick makes it’s way to DVD on April 11th 2006. And for those that missed the small theatrical release for the film, fear not, the DVD will be even better with an unrated cut of the film. Read below for a list of the announced specs…

Sorry, can’t pre-order this awesome flick yet. But keep checking in.
RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD 4: Necropolis, EXTREMES 3 II and THE NUN
Our fellow friends at Lions Gate has released info on three of some of it’s upcoming horror titles hitting shelves later this year. The first being the fourth installment in the cult-favorite franchise, Return of the Living Dead 4: Necropolis. The film was a mixed back to most but now those that missed the Sci-Fi Channel premiere can own the DVD on April 18th. Next, on April 25th, Three Extremes II will be releasing on DVD which is actually a re-titling of the Asian Anthology THREE which was produced before Three Extremes. And lastly on the 25th, is a new film from Brian Yuzna entitled The Nun (Read Arrow’s Review Here). The film, you guessed it, features a bonified-killing Nun. Also to note:
the 18th sees the release of two new entries in the Samuel Z. Arkoff Collection of classic ’50s drive-in fare.
That’s it for this installment in DVD Buzz-Saw , check back in the next column for news on MORE HORROR DVD NEWS.
