As I reported last week, Paramount has officially announced the full details and the cover art for it’s upcoming Collector’s Edition of Event Horizon (see Arrow’s review). Paul W.S. Anderson’s only good film gets the treatment it deserves as it ranks as one of the best space-based horror films. The 2-disc set will be available to own on April 18th. Have a look at what’s in store for this DVD…

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has released the full specs and the cover art for their highly successful torture flick, Hostel (see Arrow’s Review). The highly-anticipated film will be hitting DVD shelves on Aprile 18th. This DVD will feature an Unrated version, running time of 94 minutes, with added gore and more sick and twisted things, thank you Mr. Roth. My only beef with these DVD is the cover art. What was wrong with using some of the images from the theatrical posters? It’s simplistic and sort of gets the point across, but I think they could have done better. That aside, here’s the specs for the Unrated DVD…
Includes:
Plenty of gore, plenty of large breasts and one savage beating from a bunch of ten year olds. What more could you want? Pre-Order the damn thing now!
BAD DREAMS
Anchor Bay Entertainment is releasing the 1988 Horror/Thriller from Andrew Flemming Bad Dreams (see Arrow’s review here). The disc is set for an April 18th release. In case you have forgotten, or we’re still a sperm cell, this is the plot.
In the mid-’70s, a cult group called Unity Field commits mass suicide, but a young girl survives. After being in a coma for thirteen years she wakes up in a psyche ward, not remembering the incident. The psychiatrist tries to help her remember, but she begins seeing the leader of the cult talking to her from the grave, and the other members of her therapy group begin to commit suicide around her. Or is it suicide? What comes along with the Bad Dreams?
