MAGIC
From the deep, dark and mysterious vault of cult-classic films comes the news of Today Dark SkyFilms release the 1978 film Magic. The film stars a young(er) Anthony Hopkins who
is given a ventriloquist dummy called Fats to improve his act and within a few years Corky is at the height of fame. However, Fats has developed a mind of his own and wants to control his master. Although it made sound quirky it was a very good film, from what I can remember from it. Not only do we get this long-awaited film on DVD but it comes with this features…

FEAR OF CLOWNS
From Lions’ Gate Home Entertainment comes news of a DVD release for Fear of Clowns. The independent flick from Kevin Kangas has been getting good reviews from the Independent Horror Community (IFC? Ha.) The DVD will be hitting the streets on February 28th, 2006. The film
follows an artist with coulrophobia (“fear of clowns”) whom is stalked by a murderous clown resembling one of the ones she paints. Clowns and art apparently don’t mix. The only extras announced are an Audio Commentary, No Clowning Around: Behind the Scenes and Deleted Scenes.
I have always had this thing about Clowns, they creep me out, always laughing, always smiling and apparently always chopping off someone’s head.
That’s it for this latest edition of Buzz-Saw, tune in or click in… next week for more updated DVD news…
