VENOM

Dimension Films has released the tidbits on it’s latest hack’ em up, Paris Hilton-thin-plot line Slasher. Venom (check Arrow’s review), starring absolutely no one you have heard of except Method Man, will be releasing on DVD on January the 17th. The film did have a very limited theater release but did poorly despite fair reviews from the Horror web world.

The film is centered around a group of teenagers trying to uncover the truth behind a friend’s mysterious death. What they discover is an evil force worse than they could have possibly imagined – and now they’re the ones running for their lives! Good campy, teen slasher fun…

THE FOG (2005)

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will be releasing the recent remake of The Fog on January 24th. The film of ghost sailors who come back to wreak havoc on a small town through, stars Clark Kent himself, Tom Welling. The disc like nearly every Horror release these days, will be in both Unrated and Rated editions. Both version will be in Dolby Digital 5.1, but other than that there are no news on any extras or the official cover art. Check back for updates!

VITAL

From Tartan Asia Extreme (which seems to be the class of Asian Horror Films now) comes the news of it’s latest Japanese mind-fuck, Vital. The film, set for a January 24th release, stars Tadanobu Asano (Ichi The Killer) as a young man who loses his memory in a car accident, and finds himself drawn to a medical school he once turned down. There, he becomes obsessed with a female cadaver in the morgue, and as he dissects her, he begins experiencing flashes of what appears to be their former life together.
