It was a long wait, but finally Peter Jackson’s The Frighteners. One of the more loved Horror-Comedies that stars Michael J. Fox, fresh from coming Back From The Future. It’s surprising to see the amount of people have not seen this flick, it’s a hoot of a film! Universal is hoping to recoup some of the revenue that the box office run for The Skeleton Key (see Arrow’s review) didn’t make with the release of the DVD. Hitting shelves on November 15th, the mixed-review Horror/Thriller will at least provide 2 hours of Eye-Candy in Kate Hudson. The cover art also ain ‘t too shabby if I may say so myself. Empire Pictures is releasing the cult classic 70’s Television show that starred none other than than Vincent Price. On October 18th, The Hilarious House of Frightenstein. The TV series was a Canadian kids’ show directed by Riff Markowitz that ran for 130 episodes beginning in 1971, with Billy Van starring as Count Frightenstein and a bunch of other creepy/funny characters in sketches combining humor with “edutainment.” This first disc will contain the four best episodes of the show . However, in early 2006, there will be more episodes making their way to DVD…
