There are a handful of indie filmmakers who have me as a guaranteed viewer every time they put out a new movie, and one of them is Dustin Wayde Mills, who can always be counted on to release a steady stream of content. Mills' found footage horror feature OUIJA: BLOOD RITUAL was just released last October, he's currently in post-production on SLAUGHTERHOUSE SLUMBER PARTY and a feature expansion of his short film DON'T ANSWER THE DOOR, copies of his arthouse exploitation film THE HORNET'S DISCIPLE AND THE SCARS SHE LEFT are now shipping… and he has just started accepting pre-orders for a release that is expected to start shipping out next month, THE SLIT MOUTHED WOMAN AND OTHER TALES.
Erin R. Ryan (pictured above in Mills' EASTER CASKET), Haley Jay Madison, Joni Durian, and J. Ania Lupa star in THE SLIT MOUTHED WOMAN, which is described as
a softcore erotic take on the terrifying Japanese folk tale. A story of supernatural horror, sex, and murder featuring the most beautiful women in the indie horror world.
If you're not familiar with the legend of the slit mouthed woman, a.k.a. Kuchisake-onna, the Wikipedia article about her says that
she approaches her victims with seemingly innocuous questions before killing them, usually with a pair of scissors.
