Dust of War, starring Doug Jones & Tony Todd, coming to VOD in June

We've learned that Freestyle Digital Media has set a June 3rd, 2014 domestic VOD release date for the action-filled science fiction tale DUST OF WAR, which stars Tony Todd (CANDYMAN), Doug Jones (HELLBOY), Gary Graham (ALIEN NATION), Bates Wilder (SHUTTER ISLAND), Jordan McFadden and Steven Luke.

Andrew Kightlinger directed DUST OF WAR, which had its premiere at last years San Diego Comic Con (you can peep our EXCLUSIVE poster for that premiere right HERE) and went on to rack up wins at various film festivals over the past few months. Now the film is set to hit VOD on June 3 with a DVD release date to be announced shortly.

Following an alien invasion, a child emerges who harbors a secret so powerful even she cannot know its truth. Now grown into a young woman (McFadden), she has fallen into the hands of General Chizum (Wilder), a brutal warmonger bent on unveiling her secret. A resistance movement – The Free Legion – has vowed to protect her and has dispatched two of their bravest: Abel (Luke), a soldier of few words, and Tom Dixie (Graham), the cynical war vet, to save her. Together with the help of a makeshift family led by Crispus Hansen (Todd) and Jebediah Strumm (Jones) they endeavor to bring her back.
