Dungeon lore and boatloads of gore! New pic from Knights of Badassdom!

It’s only been about a month since news broke out on Joe Lynch’s KNIGHTS OF BADASSDOM and exactly two weeks since the last report of on the set pics. Ladies and gents I’m proud to report that a new shot has just been released from Lynch’s web site and hot dog does this thing look good. 

We’ve got severed heads and broken torsos all piled up next to a sign post draped with intestines. Now is that a set piece or are they just saving the severed heads for later use? I don’t know about you but this pic is definitely rocking the must see vibe. If you have no clue as to what this flick is about, refer to the synopsis below:

A huge group of dedicated, costumed LARP-ers (Live Action Role-Players) , dressed like knights, elves & various characters, who give up their cell phones and take to the woods for the Central New Jersey Knights of Badassdom Adventure Society, where they are set to re-enact a dungeons and dragons scenario right out of the mythical Middle Ages.

After being dumped by his sexy girlfriend Beth, Joe reluctantly decides to join Eric and his Larping friends in the woods rather than stay behind and feel sorry for his newly single status. There he meets hot, ass-kicking, intimidating huntress LARPer Gwen, and finds himself a surreal adventure wilder than he ever imagined when a make-believe wizard casts an all-too-real spell from an ancient book he bought on EBay, releasing an actual demon with a taste for human blood — and souls — that starts systematically decimating the players in this suddenly deadly “game.” Will our guys become the heroes they have been pretending to be before time runs out?

The film has recently wrapped so it’s going to be interesting to see what’s next in the line of marketing. So far the only thing we can expect is a nice chunk of dungeon lore, medieval action and boatloads of gore.
