Sheila and Joel Hammond (Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant) are coming back for another season of flesh-eating, gut-munching hilarity when Santa Clarita Diet season 3 hits Netflix on March 29th, and today we have an appetizer to hold you over the remaining eighteen days until the season is ready to be binged on: the season's trailer.
Created by Victor Fresco, Santa Clarita Diet tells the story of
realtor spouses Sheila and Joel, who lead vaguely discontented lives in the L.A. suburb of Santa Clarita with their teenage daughter Abby, until Sheila goes through a dramatic change that sends their lives down a road of death and destruction — but in a good way.
Sheila’s big problem isn’t that she missed her sales quota — rather, she has contracted a zombie virus and has begun to devour all the nasty people around her. And they say real estate is a dog-eat-dog business.
Barrymore and Olyphant are joined in the cast by Liv Hewson and Skyler Gisondo.
Barrymore and Olyphant also serve as executive producers on the series alongside Fresco, Aaron Kaplan, Tracy Katsky, Chris Miller, Ember Truesdell, and Ruben Fleischer.
I find Santa Clarita Diet to be a lot of fun, so I'll definitely be checking out season 3 at the end of the month.
