Dragonball first look

By way of some wacky looking manga compilation called Shonen Jump, we have a first look at Justin Chatwin (THE INVISIBLE) as Goku in the upcoming movie adaptation of DRAGONBALL. The film will be directed by James Wong (FINAL DESTINATION) and sees Goku (Chatwin) set out to fulfill his grandfather’s dying request that he find Master Roshi (Chow Yun-Fat) and the seven Dragon Balls, of which he has one. Emmy Rossum and James Marsters co-star.

To be completely honest, I think this could have been much, much worse. At least he isn’t scissor-kicking a guy or pumping fireballs or something like that. But if this film doesn’t tank massively at the box office I’ll be flat-out stupefied.
