Doug Liman’s Edge of Tomorrow releases long featurette and B-roll footage

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Yesterday we blasted you with four clips from Doug Liman’s time-tripping alien invasion tale EDGE OF TOMORROW, but the goods keep on coming. Today we’ve got a 13-minute featurette for the film and five minutes of B-roll footage. Basically everything you could possibly ask for if you’re looking to go behind-the-scenes of the Tom Cruise-starring adventure.

Major William Cage (Cruise) is an officer who has never seen a day of combat when he is unceremoniously dropped into what amounts to a suicide mission. Killed within minutes, Cage now finds himself inexplicably thrown into a time loop—forcing him to live out the same brutal combat over and over, fighting and dying again…and again.

But with each battle, Cage becomes able to engage the adversaries with increasing skill, alongside Special Forces warrior Rita Vrataski (Emily Blunt). And, as Cage and Rita take the fight to the aliens, each repeated encounter gets them one step closer to defeating the enemy.

EDGE OF TOMORROW opens June 6th.
