With BREAKING BAD ending in 2013 in brilliant fashion, AMC’s other critical darling will begin to wrap up it’s run this year in similar fashion. Broken into two halves, MAD MEN’s seventh season will premiere next month and there is quite a bit to catch up on in the meantime. Does Don still work for the firm? Is Peggy in charge now? What will become of Pete, Betty, Roger, and the rest of the cast of characters?
In typical MAD MEN style, this brief teaser provides nothing more than a hint of what is to come. Steeped in cool and mystery, Don is exiting a TWA plane. Is he in California? Who knows. What we do know is that MAD MEN’s final season is going to be dramatic as hell. While I don’t think it will feature the gunfire from BREAKING BAD’s finale, but there will definitely be a verbal explosion or two.
