Don Coscarelli’s John Dies at the End gets a cool retro poster!

Don Coscarelli’s JOHN DIES AT THE END will be made available to the masses at the end of December (sort of a post-Christmas gift, if you will), and we can hardly wait to feast on the insanity the PHANTASM director has cooked up for us this time. Until we get a good look at it, we’ll have to make due with the film’s official poster, which was just unveiled by Magnet Releasing today. Sink your eyes into its retro awesomeness below.

In JOHN DIES AT THE END, it¹s all about the Soy Sauce, a drug that promises an out-of-body
experience with each hit. Users drift across time and dimensions. But some who come back are no longer human. Suddenly a silent otherworldly invasion is underway, and mankind needs a hero. What it gets instead is John (Rob Mayes) and David (Chase Williamson), a pair of college dropouts who can barely hold down jobs. Can these two stop the oncoming horror in time to save humanity? No. No, they can’t.

Magnet Releasing will release JOHN DIES AT THE END, which also stars Clancy Brown, Glynn Turman and Paul Giamatti, through Magnet On-Demand December 27, 2012 and in theaters February 3, 2013.
