Today’s Doctor Who 60th Anniversary Specials trailer takes you on a wild ride! Get ready to run!
Additional new cast includes Yasmin Finney as Rose Temple-Noble, Miriam Margolyes as the voice of the Meep and Ruth Madeley as Shirley Anne Bingham, as well as returning characters Jacqueline King as Sylvia Noble, Karl Collins as Shaun Temple, and Jemma Redgrave as Kate Lethbridge-Stewart.
Doctor Who is the longest-running action-adventure television series in the world, spanning 60 years and winning over 100 awards. In the Doctor Who 60th Anniversary Specials trailer, Tennant’s Doctor joins forces with his former companion, Donna Temple-Noble (Catherine Tate), to match wits with a dastardly villain, the Celestial Toymaker (Neil Patrick Harris). According to Doctor Who Fandom, the last time the Doctor and Donna were together, “the regeneration energy stored in the Doctor’s hand interacted with Donna and created a being who looked like the Doctor but was half human and had aspects of Donna’s personality. When Donna tried to use the Meta-Crisis Tenth Doctor’s Z-Neutrino Biological Inversion Catalyser on the Daleks, Davros electrocuted her.” Did you get all that? I hope so. It’ll be on the final.
Ncuti Gatwa takes control of the TARDIS as the Fifteenth Doctor over the festive period and the new season of Doctor Who, will stream globally in 2024 on Disney+ and on the BBC in the UK and Ireland.
My body is more than ready for Doctor Who to return! Today’s Doctor Who 60th Anniversary Specials trailer has me counting down the days until the Disney+ premiere of the specials.
