Yes, I'm all too aware of what day it is, but this is just too perfect not to share. Production is currently underway on Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and like many of Sam Raimi's films, it's very likely (but not officially confirmed) that we can expect a cameo from Bruce Campbell. Earlier this year, Campbell not so subtly teased his involvement in the Doctor Strange sequel when he posted a picture of London with the caption, "Boy, it was a blast, working in a certain city, with a certain director on a certain movie with a certain actor – it sure was!" Well, the actor took things one step further today when he "leaked" a page of the script that features a crossover that is just dying to be seen.

Oh, how I wish it wasn't April 1st. Unless…it's all an elaborate con and they want us to think it's fake but it's actually real!… Keep telling yourself that, Kevin. Given the multiverse nature of the Doctor Strange sequel, this little crossover with the world of The Evil Dead likely wouldn't be too far-fetched, but as it stands now, it's simply a fun little read for a Thursday evening.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will naturally see Benedict Cumberbatch returning as the Sorcerer Supreme, and he'll also be joined by Benedict Wong as Wong, Rachel McAdams as Christine Palmer, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Karl Mardo, Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez, and Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch. The Doctor Strange sequel will be continuing the story that began in WandaVision, and will also tie into the upcoming Loki series as well as Spider-Man: No Way Home, which just so happens to feature Cumberbatch reprising his role of Doctor Strange alongside Tom Holland's Spider-Man. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is slated for a March 25, 2022 release.
