James Cameron and director Tim Miller's TERMINATOR: DARK FATE starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton will be hitting next month along with THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE director Mike Flanagan's adaptation of Stephen King's THE SHINING sequel DOCTOR SLEEP.
And today we've learned that both films will be testing the limits of your bladder as Flanagan's DOCTOR SLEEP will run 2 hours and 32 minutes, and Miller's TERMINATOR: DARK FATE will run 2 hours and 8 minutes. Sounds good to me! Just make sure to skip the jumbo drink at concessions.
TERMINATOR: DARK FATE will take over 2 hours to tell the tale of
Sarah Connor as she joins forces with a female cyborg to protect a young girl from a powerful new Terminator.
And DOCTOR SLEEP will be pushing 3 hours to follow:
Dan Torrance, still irrevocably scarred by the trauma he endured as a child at the Overlook, fighting to find some semblance of peace. But that peace is shattered when he encounters Abra, a courageous teenager with her own powerful extrasensory gift, known as the “shine.” Instinctively recognizing that Dan shares her power, Abra has sought him out, desperate for his help against the merciless Rose the Hat and her followers, The True Knot, who feed off the shine of innocents in their quest for immortality. Forming an unlikely alliance, Dan and Abra engage in a brutal life-or-death battle with Rose. Abra’s innocence and fearless embrace of her shine compel Dan to call upon his own powers as never before — at once facing his ears and reawakening the ghosts of the past.
TERMINATOR: DARK FATE is scheduled to be released on November 1, 2019. Mike Flanagan & Stephen King's DOCTOR SLEEP shines into theaters a week later on November 8, 2019. Which film are you looking forward to checking out the most next month? Let us know below!
