Splash, Daryl Hannah, Disney+

Much like the films it develops, the Disney+ streaming service is largely a family-friendly environment, which means that although there's no shortage of hacked off limbs and beheadings, the sight of an unadorned bottom is simply too much. One of the many films on Disney+ is SPLASH, the Ron Howard romantic comedy which stars Tom Hanks as a man who falls in love with a woman played by Daryl Hannah who is secretly a mermaid.

If you might recall, the film featured a moment of brief nudity in which Hannah's character turned around to dive back into the ocean. While her hair covered must of the offending cheeks in the original version, the folks at Disney+ clearly thought there was still a little too much flesh on display and used their considerable CGI powers to come up with this:

That's some CATS-level nonsense right there. When SPLASH was first released back in 1984, it was given a PG rating for nudity, sexual content, and some brief language. Although these types of edits are likely to irk fans, the streaming service is only growing larger as they recently announced that they had surpassed 50 million subscribers.
