The hype for season two of The Mandalorian has been very real and now Disney+ has finally unveiled the first trailer for the upcoming second season that is sure to get fans excited for what's to come during the new season.
The Disney+ series wrapped filming in February, ahead of any COVID-19 pandemic shutdowns, and the prospective release of October 2020 has yet to be changed. While the series post-production remains on track, Lucasfilm had yet to release even a hint of a glimpse of a new trailer. First, we got some first-look images that were released by "Entertainment Weekly" and now the trailer is here in all its glory and it should build proper anticipation as the October 30, 2020, premiere date approaches. The first season of The Mandalorian became a critical and fan favorite hit for Disney+ after it premiered on the streaming platform on November 12, 2019. The eight-episode first season was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series, a rarity for the genre, and it has also received 15 Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards nominations, including nominations for actors Giancarlo Esposito and Taika Waititi, and composer Ludwig Goransson. Set five years after the events of THE RETURN OF THE JEDI and 25 years prior to the events of THE FORCE AWAKENS, the show follows the title character, a Mandalorian bounty hunter named Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal), and his exploits beyond the reaches of the New Republic.
