Dimension Films has preemptively picked up the horror-thriller spec script INK AND BONE from writer Zak Olkewicz.
The story has been described as a horror thriller in the vein of Dimension’s hit film 1408.
In the film, when an editor is dispatched to help a reclusive horror writer finish his latest book, she discovers he’s being held prisoner in his house by everything he’s ever written.
Bob Weinstein, co-chairman of The Weinstein Company, had this to say about INK AND BONE:
“I immediately read and loved the concept of Zak’s script. It reminds me of Stephen King’s work and I feel that INK AND BONE could be a successful upscale thriller for Dimension.”
Matthew Signer and Keith Levine will oversee production for Dimension.
Olkewicz is developing another spec titled MARKED at Chernin Entertainment.
