Leonardo DiCaprio is stacking up film roles like Pamela Anderson’s stacking up husbands these days. He’s most recently been tapped to star in FARRAGUT NORTH, a feature adaptation of the Beau Willimon play of the same name. And, as if one internationally famous hearthrob dreamboat wasn’t enough for a film, George Clooney is looking to direct this bad boy (though no word on whether he’ll also co-star). With Willimon himself writing the script, DiCaprio would be playing a young communications director for a red hot presidential candidate who’s slowly sucked into the seedy underbelly of presidential race politics. The play, it seems, is quite impressive as Mike Nichols is reportedly looking to direct it on Broadway next year with dreamy-eyed thesp Jake Gyllenhaal making his Broadway debut. DiCaprio can next be seen in a hell of a lot of flicks including the drama REVOLUTIONARY ROAD, alongside Russell Crowe in BODY OF LIES and the drama THE CHANCELLOR MANUSCRIPT.
