Diablo’s Body reviewed

I have one question to ask, WHO THE F**K IS DIABLO CODY (pictured)? and why is she famous? I feel like I’ve heard this broads name like a billion times in the past couple of months but I can’t even figure out what she did to get where she is. Anyways, she wrote the script to the upcoming JUNO film, directed by Jason Reitman (son of Ivan Reitman of GHOSTBUSTERS, hehe) and her next film JENNIFERS BODY is apparently a gross out horror flick produced by Reitman, starring TRANSFORMERS hottie Megan Fox and was picked up by the shameless Fox Atomic.

Anyways, I’ve read little things about JENNIFER’S BODY, but nothing really big until now. Slashfilm got a look at the script and apparently it’s a much see? Anyway, they had this to say (possible spoilers below):

Anita “Needy” Lesnicki is a 17-year-old girl serving her time in Leech Lake Women’s Correctional Hospital, after having killed her best friend Jennifer Check with a box-cutter. But she wasn’t always “insane”, she once was a normal teenage girl living in a quiet farming community of Devil’s Kettle, Minnesota. But the story takes place three months earlier (told in flashback), when Needy was dragged by then BFF Jennifer to a small band-show at a run-down tavern at the edge of town. The whole bar went up in flames killing many (ala the Great White incident), but the duo narrowly escaped. Jennifer returned from a ride in the band’s “white molester van” forever changed, showing up at Needy’s house later that night covered with blood, vomiting spiny evil-looking black bile. Male students in Devil’s Kettle start turnning up dead, ripped limb from limb – destroyed and ravaged. How Jennifer transformed from a upstanding member of the high school flag team into a self-regenerating (ala Claire from Heroes) flesh feeding demonic cannibal isn’t revealed till much later (but don’t expect to find out in this review).

I still have yet to see JUNO, so I’m going to continue to think Diablo Cody is an idiot until she proves me wrong. But most don’t ever prove me wrong, so Diablo Cody can bite me, with her stupid name, ugh. Anyway to read more of what Slashfilm had to say about the script , click here.
